Assistant General Manager

The position of Assistant General Manager offers a salary between £32,000 and £35,000, with live-in options and additional benefits such as bonus schemes and meals during shifts. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for:

• The day to day running of the restaurant.
• Involved in all areas of stock control and gross profit margins.
• Managing and inspiring at team of up to 10+ staff
• Working closely with the Head Chef
• Running the day-to-day operations
• Experienced in running service & standards.
• Coming up with new ideas
• Focusing on attention to detail
• Maintaining brand standards
• Training and development of staff
• Working under pressure
• Be able to think on your feet to solve problems.

The Ideal candidate will be:

• An experienced Assistant General Manager with at least 1/2 years’ experience working in a busy Bar environment.
• Must have worked in busy environments.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Experience working alongside the General Manager
• Must have experience in managing teams.
• Focus on attention to detail.
• Flexible in working hours.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Dealing with senior Managers and Directors
• Good understanding about H&S and food hygiene
• Upbeat personality
• Friendly and upbeat personality

The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent culinary service to the clientele and a proven track record in a fresh food restaurant environment.
