Were looking for the missing piece in our Truro depot someone with experience in stock management, transport planning, and team supervision whos ready to make a real impact.
As a key support to the Depot Supervisor, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy, medium-sized site.
If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, leading a small team, and keeping everything running smoothly we want to hear from you! What You’ll Be Doing: Support the Depot Manager with daily operations, and step in as acting Supervisor when needed Lead and support a small team including drivers, storekeepers, and admin staff Be responsible for ensuring the picking and packing of orders is completed in a safe and timely manner.
Help manage costs, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and oversee the safe storage of chemicals (in line with BASIS and ADR standards) Maintain excellent communication with customers and internal teams Use company systems to drive efficiency and control depot costs Act as a keyholder and trusted member of the team Provide top-level customer service and assist with order management What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a supervisory role Background in warehousing, logistics, or transport Strong IT, organisational and communication skills Hands-on approach and team leadership capabilities Full UK Driving Licence (required) What We Offer: A family-run national business with a supportive culture Standard hours with seasonal overtime and some Saturday mornings (MarchJune) 22 days holiday Bank Holidays (plus Christmas shutdown)
