NORTH DEVON DISTRICT COUNCIL
The Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon has secured Development Funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund for the Potted History project. This initiative aims to advance the post-excavation analysis of at least fourteen archaeological digs conducted in Barnstaple during the 1970s and 1980s, which included several post-mediaeval pottery kilns. The project seeks to enhance understanding of the local heritage and archaeological significance of these sites.
