LOCATION:          Clitheroe future relocation to Junc 4 M65 (Lower Darwen) in March
 
SALARY:               Circa £40’000 basic plus qtrly and annual bonus. Salary negotiable on experience.

We are currently searching for an Application Engineer to join the team supporting the customer experience and sales globally from cradle to grave.

Application Engineer – Global – Key skills:
 

• Hands on approach to your work is absolutely key.
• Mechanical Design Engineering Degree or similar is essential.
• Experience of and understanding of global export.
• Keen understanding and interest in mechanical engineering for the Food/ confectionery / pharmaceutical /Paint/Bakery or Building industries.
• 1 year industry experience is ideal.
• Experience of 3D CAD (Inventor) through studies.
• Ability to balance many tasks at the same time. Time management is key.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and manner.
• Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationship ensure repeat custom.
• Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues.

 
Application Engineer – Global – Role:
 

• This is an internal role to support the Global sales team composing product and project quotes for customers.
• Working closely with suppliers and agents to maintain margins ensuring each individual project costings are accurate.
• Cross functional communication.
• Overseas ravel when required.
• Technical and pricing support and knowledge to the Global sales team.
• Ensuring the technical content of all quotes are correct and accurate.
• Coordination of project quotations across the team.

 
There is headroom to develop and progress within the business across either the Technical department, Mechanical Engineering Design or Engineering Sales.
