Selwyns is seeking an Air Crew PCV Transfer Driver in Wythenshawe, Manchester, for a permanent, full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours per week. * *Hours: *Guaranteed 40 hours per week – permanent position
* *Uplift in rate of pay from 1st July 2025:*
* *Mon-Fri Rate: *£15.00 ph (including shift allowance). Night rate £16.50 ph
* *Weekend rate: *£15.56 ph (including shift allowance). Night rate £17.06 ph
* *Varying shifts: * Varying shifts – mainly 5 over 7 shift pattern
* * See below rates of pay until 30th June 2025
*The role:*
As an airport driver you will be the face of Selwyns for some of our most high-profile international airline clients. As such this role requires high levels of customer service, exceptional driving standards and full adherence to both road traffic and driver hours regulations.
You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting flight crews between Manchester airport, both airside and landside, and their hotels around the city.
As the only operator approved to transfer flight crew airside directly to and from their aircraft, our drivers need to be of the highest standard to be able to obtain security passes and to be permitted to drive inside the airport grounds across live taxiways.
The role of an airport driver at Selwyns also requires flexibility with working patterns and rotas as our customers flight times operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

*You must meet the following essential criteria:*
* A full, UK PCV (Category D) Licence
* You must be able to supply a five year working history including contact details for previous employers.
* 5 full years of employment history.
* Demonstrable experience as a Coach Driver.
* A valid Digital Tachograph card (not essential at application stage, but must have one prior to start on duty)
* A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
* A maximum of 6 penalty points
* No unspent criminal convictions
* Rates of pay until 30th June 2025 Mon-Fri £14.50 (night rate £16.00) Sat-Sun £15.06 (night rate £16.56)
