Pertemps is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant position on behalf of a client in Telford, Shropshire. The responsibilities of the role include sales invoice processing, setting up new customers, purchase invoice processing, completing supplier credit applications, bank reconciliation, and credit control. The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 AAT qualification or below (or relevant experience), Xero experience, and knowledge of bank reconciliations and credit control. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of part-time work. The salary is £23,000 – £25,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time). Job Description:Accounts Assistant
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client based in Telford, Shropshire.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Sales invoice processing and maintenance of Sales Ledger.
• Setting up new customers on the system.
• Purchase invoice processing and maintenance of purchase ledger including 3-way matching.
• Completing new supplier credit application forms.
• Preparation of supplier BACS runs.
• Preparation of supplier bank runs.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Credit control.

Ideal Candidate:
• Level 3 AAT or below (not necessary if have experience)
• Xero experience is preferred.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Credit Control.
• Study support.
• Be able to follow processes and procedures.
• Posting to correct nominal codes.
• Payroll experience using Sage 50 payroll is preferred.
• Able to work on own and as a team.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am – 17:00pm for full time. Also, open to considering part time working for the right candidate.

Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 per annum DOE. (Pro Rata for a part time basis)
