Cunningham and Partners Ltd, an independent insurance broker based in London, seeks a dynamic account executive to manage risks for ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The ideal candidate will either have two years of high-net-worth experience or five years of exceptional experience, with the latter allowed more remote work flexibility. Responsibilities include negotiating renewal terms, handling claims, and attending site appraisals. Candidates should possess good academic qualifications, articulate communication skills, and proficiency in relevant software. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to client confidentiality, with general office hours from 9 am to 5 pm.

Cunningham and Partners Ltd is an independent management owned insurance broker, dedicated to managing the risks faced by UHNW individuals and their families.

We are a well-established, rapidly growing insurance broking business based in London/High Street Kensington.

We are looking for either someone with a couple years’ of HNW experience and we will give them the opportunity to flourish in that role.

Alternatively, an individual with exceptional experience (5 years), who can hit the ground running.

Someone who has a couple years’ experience, they would need that person in the office at a minimum of 4 day a week.

However, someone who has 5 years plus experience, who has got a proven track record with an established broker and is able to work independently would be allowed to work more from home.

This would not be an immediate entitlement but something to work towards.

Should the person have commercial experience then this would be of added benefit.

Principal Accountabilities: As part of our continued growth and development, we looking to invest in a dynamic account executive, one who will play a critical role in driving the business forward.

They will be an important and integral part of a busy team, working closely with the Managing Partner and other team members.

They will be expected to liaise with insurers in negotiating and delivering renewal terms and / or MTA s.

Other duties include claims and attending site appraisals with loss adjusters, surveyors and clients.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications: Good academic qualifications – (Graduate – BA) (other relevant professional qualifications are considered highly favourably, though not essential.) Experience
– minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Commercial & Private Client or only HNW Insurance Industry Articulate
– proficiency in written and spoken English is imperative.

Computer / IT – competent in excel, power point and word and Acturis.

Strong interpersonal skills Disciplined Positive ‘can do’ attitude.

Willing to go that extra mile.

Self-motivated & confident Strong communicator Conscientious & thorough Discreet / respectful of client privacy and confidentiality Detail orientated.

Propensity to want to see the job through to completion.

Office hours – a degree of flexibility but generally 9-5.
