Role Purpose:
Carat is the European media agency for Kellanova, they are a dynamic and progressive FMCG company, with three business units: Cereals, K Snacks and Salty Snacks. Kellanova are a key client for Carat and we have a longstanding relationship with them (10+ years) which has just been renewed. Annually we plan and buy over 90m+ Euros of media (50%+ in digital) for them across 29 markets, with a focus on the UK (largest market), Spain, Germany, France and Italy.
The Carat Central team consists of Strategic Planners, Communication Planners and Market Planners aligned to the three business units.
The role is for an Account Executive who would sit within the Cereals and K Snacks Market Planning team working across iconic brands like Kellogg’s Masterbrand, Special K and Rice Krispie Squares. The role is focused on best practise delivery of implementation planning and buying across all European markets.
The ideal candidate will have a balance of analytical skills and media strategy /
communications planning, and will have to demonstrate a level of gravitas enabling confident management of projects and senior clients.

The purpose of the Account Executive role is to:
• Support the Account Director in all aspects of planning, launching, and reporting for their European client teams
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across local markets, digital buying hubs and the broader dentsu team to service client needs
We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and enthusiastic Account Executive to join a fun, dynamic, and experienced team. The successful candidate will work very closely with their Account Director And Account Manager to service our central clients, manage day-to-day account deliverables, and plan / launch / report on strategic media campaigns. And, there will be opportunities to get involved in wider agency projects & initiativesas well.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Managing the Business:
• Support the Client Account Director with the delivery of multiple workstreams simultaneously to meet client expectations
• Support in coordinating the team’s deliverables, ensuring all responses and updates are provided to our central teams in an accurate and timely manner
Relationship Management:
• Supports the CAD with general client liaison and administration
• Builds and maintains collaborative working relationships with all local and specialist teams (e.g. markets across Europe and the digital hub team)
• Meets with & learns from key local and global media owners
Finance & Budget Management:
• Work with AD & Operations Director to ensure budgets are accurate and up to date for approval purposes
• Work with specialist teams to ensure Lumina media plans are updated regularly to accurately reflect their latest plans
Reporting Oversight:
• Work with local and hub teams to collate post campaign performance reports
• Support AD in the collation, review, and presentation of regular Kube performance presentations
Communications Planning:
• Work with CAD and Comms Planner to effectively brief local and hub teams on campaign activity
• Support AD and the specialist teams to create holistic media recommendations that deliver on Kellogg’s business objectives and reflect local market nuance
• Support A D & specialist teams in building out detailed, tactical plan recommendations and excuting plans
