3.5t Van Driver

Backline Logistics in Plymouth is seeking 3.5t van drivers for various distribution roles, including builder’s merchants and parcel deliveries. Responsibilities include loading and unloading vans, completing paperwork, and multi-drop deliveries, requiring customer service skills. Ideal candidates will have experience with multi-drop driving and long wheel-based vans. Shifts typically start at 07:00am, offering a minimum of 8 hours pay per day, with both full-time and part-time options available. The role requires a full UK Category B licence and offers benefits such as £12.50 per hour, free training, and a supportive work environment.

Backline Logistics Plymouth are looking for *3.5t Van drivers *to work for a range of distribution companies such as: Builder’s merchants, tyre deliveries, and/or parcel deliveries.
General duties include but are not limited to: loading and unloading the vans, filling out relevant paperwork, and multi-drop of goods. This role is customer facing so previous experience of customer service is advantageous.
The ideal candidate Previous experience of multi-drop, driving long wheel-based vans, and ratchet straps is highly advantageous.
Typical shifts start from 07:00am onwards, Monday to Friday with a minimum of 8 hours of pay per day. Overtime available dependant on business needs. Full time and part time hours are available.
*THE REQUIREMENTS*
* You must hold a full UK 3.5t / Category B Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
* You must have had previous experience of driving 3.5t vans.
* Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
* Be clean and professional at all times.
* Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
