Smile Education, Northwest is currently recruiting for a full-time MFL (Modern Foreign Language) Teacher for a secondary school based in Tameside, Ashton-Under-Lyne.

What does the role involve?

  • Teaching for both Spanish and French lessons and delivering pre-planned learning materials
  • Providing guidance and advice to pupils on education and on their further education and careers
  • Providing feedback to students and parents, through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate
  • Contributing to department planning and self-evaluation
  • Providing professional support to other teachers and support staff

What do you need?

  • A MFL-relevant and education-related UK qualification (e.g., QTS/PGCE)
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
  • Able and willing to travel to the area
  • 2 education-based references
  • A passion for teaching/supporting.
  • A determined, hard-working attitude

 
Immediate start available.
Our schools can offer security with the role as it is a long-term position for at least 1 academic year and the possibility to a permanent role.
