Maintenance Engineer – Nights

Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:

A leading manufacturing business is searching for Maintenance Engineers to work in their facility in Bridgnorth. The role offers a starting salary of up to £45,149 inclusive of shift allowance, 4 shifts per week, a 3-day weekend every week, and a permanent position. The Maintenance Engineers will be responsible for investigating equipment failures, participating in regular reviews, carrying out plant/equipment installation, and focusing on continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics, and the ability to read mechanical and electrical diagrams. This position is commutable from Bridgnorth, Dudley, Wolverhampton, and Telford.

For the successful Maintenance Engineers our client is offering:

2. Starting salary up to £45,149 which is INCLUSIVE of shift allowance – £15.10 per hour + 25% Shift Allowance
3. 4 shifts per week, 3 day weekend every week! 6pm – 6am Monday to Thursday – 46 hours per week
4. Permanent position

The role – Maintenance Engineer:

2. Investigate all equipment failures, recommend and implement improvements 
3. Participate in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
4. Carrying out Plant/Equipment installation in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance
5. Providing minimal downtime to Production
6. Installing & setting up new areas within Production as required
7. Attending Maintenance meetings
8. Focusing on Continuous Improvement
9. Maintaining a high level of Health & Safety
10. Working in team situations to resolve any issues
11. Carrying out Mechanical & Electrical tasks

What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:

2. Previous experience within a similar role – ESSENTIAL
3. Knowledge of Pneumatics / Hydraulics
4. Able to read Mechanical & Electrical diagrams
5. Experienced in Planned Preventative Maintenance
6. PLC experience – PREFERRED
7. Our client is looking for candidates who are Multi Skilled, ideally (60/40) Mechanical/Electrical
