111Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk & Insurance Lead Analyst to become an integral part of the Enterprise Risk Management team. You will provide support in promoting risk management awareness and practices across the organisation.  In addition you will be supporting the Insurance team in the collection and review of exposure data, providing valuable input into the management of claims made against the company.

This is a unique, exciting opportunity to develop your career in a role that combines both your Risk and Insurance experience, where you will be engaging  with internal and external stakeholders and working with appointed insurance related legal advisors.

What you will be doing as an Enterprise Risk & Insurance Lead Analyst

  • Support the consistent embedding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework across the organisation.
  • Raise awareness of risk management best practice across Thames Water. 
  • Support the identification, development and implementation of tools and technology to support enterprise risk management, including ongoing user training where necessary.
  • Act as key interface for the risk owners and other key stakeholders to co-ordinate and support routine risk deliverables.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to collate information and documentary evidence to support the defence of insurance related claims where appropriate.

What you should bring to the role
Essential

  • Previous relevant risk management and/or insurance experience supporting risk management and insurance programmes in an organisation.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, as well as excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to operate effectively in an agile way in the context of changing priorities of the wider team and the business.
  • Experience in delivering risk and insurance reports and analysis.
  • Demonstrable experience inbuilding and maintaining strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver quality deliverables to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to remain focused on the bigger picture.

Desirable:

  • Insightful business awareness with the ability to understand and analyse changing business context in relation to risk and insurance.
  • Experience in utility industry, regulated environment or FTSE250.

Qualification:

  • Desirable – recognised, or working towards a qualification in Risk Management and/or insurance

  • Competitive salary from £55,000 – £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
