What you’ll be doing as a Senior Electrical Engineer
- Develop multiple projects to meet defined needs with best-value solutions at various Wastewater Treatment Works and pumping stations within the Thames Valley and Home Counties.
- Get the proper technical outcomes from the Project Definition Briefs and maximise value by understanding risks and providing mitigation.
- Input and continuously improve Technical Asset Standards.
- Provide Design sign-off between Asset Management and Capital Delivery as the Delivery Stream dictates.
- Provide Technical assurance during the delivery, commissioning, and handover of Assets.
- Support other Senior Engineers and Engineers in their roles.
Hybrid – Clearwater Court. The successful applicant will be expected to be in the office once a week, the remainder of their time will be spent between hybrid working and onsite.
Successful candidates must have access to a car and hold a driving licence.
We are open to part-time and full-time applicants for this role thirty-six hours a week, Monday to Friday.
What you should bring to the role of Senior Electrical Engineer
- Degree or master’s in electrical engineering and hold charter-ship status.
- Have a background in high-voltage work.
- Knowledge of developing technical project solutions and briefs, especially those related to electrical scope.
- Understanding of project delivery in process industries.
- Understanding of H&S in the Construction industry, particularly CDM.
- Understanding of electrical processes and equipment, especially pumps and pipework.
