63Job Description:Housekeeping Assistant required for a summer job at a residential activity centre near Bideford in North Devon.
- Monday to Friday,
- £12 per hour
- 10 minutes’ drive from Bideford, 20 minutes’ drive from Westward Ho!, free parking on site
- Temporary role for Summer period
About the role
- Working as part of a team and reporting to a housekeeping manager
- Cleaning of guest accommodation – vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen
- Daily cleaning of toilets, showers and changing areas
- Keeping all front of house and communal areas are clean and tidy
- Assist in other departments as required (Catering, Maintenance and Retail)
- Some manual handling – lifting and pulling – required as part of the role
The right candidate
- Own transport is essential to reach this location
- Excellent communication skills, as you’ll be working alongside guests, visitors and other employees
- Previous experience in a similar role like cleaner, housekeeper or hygiene operative
