Are you a self-motivated Hybrid Nurse ready to make a difference? The Centre for Health & Disability Assessments invites you to join our dynamic service, delivering evidence-based functional movement for complex patient cases.
This is your chance to hone your clinical assessment skills in a supportive environment.
As a Hybrid Nurse, you will triage patients and provide detailed case reports for the DWP, working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).

Responsibilities:
- Conduct a combination of file-work and face-to-face assessments of customers regarding various benefits, providing detailed reports to the DWP. File-work involves reviewing medical evidence in written or electronic format to determine the necessity of a face-to-face assessment. Assessments focus on how disabilities impact customers’ daily work-related activities.
- Utilize IT software programs to support clinical decision-making during file-work and examinations.
- Provide comprehensive reports to enable DWP Decision Makers to make informed benefit claim decisions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ acute clinical experience
- Broad-based clinical experience in an acute setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, empathetic, and professional manner
- Strong computer and IT skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a targeted team
- Adaptability and flexibility under pressure
