Job Title:             CNC Miller Setter

Location:             Wolverhampton                             

Hours:                  MON – FRI 37.5 hours

Pay Rate:             £25k – £28k

 

We are currently recruiting for a Miller setter/operator (Turning desirable) for our client in Wolverhampton. They are highly regarded when it comes to high security locks, being the UK’s leading manufacturer.

 

Due to an increase in work volume at Henry Squire our client is looking to recruit a CNC Miller Setter, with 5 years’ experience, to the team, you will be required to set and operate our Dugard and Haas Twin Pallet Vertical Milling machines. The applicant must be able to demonstrate that they can set our tools and jigs using a tool pre-setter and DTI to establish datums.

What’s the job?

• An experienced CNC Setter/Operator to set and operate our Dugard and Haas Twin Pallet Vertical Milling machines.
• applicant must be able to demonstrate that they can set our tools and jigs using a tool pre-setter and DTI to establish datums.
• Will be required to edit existing CNC programs and machine offsets to produce our high security lock components to tolerances detailed on our drawings.
•  Experienced use and knowledge of measuring equipment and bespoke gauges

Who can do this?

• 5 years’ experience at setting and operating CNC vertical milling machines
• Ability to understand and use relevant measuring equipment and bespoke gauges
• Ability to produce components to tolerances detailed within the engineering drawings
• Someone who will work towards cementing our position as the manufacturer of the world’s strongest padlocks
• A candidate who will show willingness to learn and progress
