60Job Description:The Stalking Threat Assessment Centre (STAC) is a multiagency co-located pan London service focused on improving responses to stalking across the capital. The post holder would work closely with Metropolitan Police, National Probation Service and Third Sector Advocacy as part of pilot project focusing on the delivery and piloting of an Early Stalking Intervention Program (ESIP) funded by NHS London health in justice.
The post holder will be involved in leading the delivery of the pilot ESIP program, coordination of referrals, intervention delivery, data collection and will be the primary supervisor of two band 5 assistant psychologists who will be attached to the project. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of risk and suitability of those being assessed for a Stalking Protection Order or Probation cases where there is a Restraining Order. This will involve close liaison with co-working with police officers, MPS legal service, community probation officers and victim advocates in both the pre and post-conviction space.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified specialist practitioner psychologist to contribute to the delivery and development of a brief intervention for Stalking Behaviour as part of STAC service.
· The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of two assistant psychologists as part of the ESIP pilot project. They will also lead and contribute to the development of the intervention model and ensure staff are suitably equipped to deliver intervention sessions.
· The job holder will be responsible for coordinating the ESIP referral and clinical management pathway and developing multiagency case management of those referred to the ESIP program. Main Duties are summarised below:
· Provide a clinically informed perspective to Police and other agencies and provide informal and formal education around mental disorder, risk and service provision.
· Provision of psychological therapeutic intervention and assessment as part of MDT approach.
· The post holder will be expected to manage and disseminate data collection and outcomes as required to funding and work closely with the services senior leadership team to deliver this objective.
