£39500 Per Annum + healthcare + benefits

Minimum 2 years postgrad experience.

Monday – Friday 37.5hrs

Part time hours – 21 (week day) hours per week minimum

Are you a self-motivated Physiotherapist ready to make a difference? The Centre for Health & Disability Assessments invites you to join our dynamic service, delivering evidence-based functional movement for complex patient cases.

This is your chance to hone your clinical assessment skills in a supportive environment.

As a Hybrid Physio, you will triage patients and provide detailed case reports for the DWP, working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a combination of file-work and face-to-face assessments of customers regarding various benefits, providing detailed reports to the DWP. File-work involves reviewing medical evidence in written or electronic format to determine the necessity of a face-to-face assessment. Assessments focus on how disabilities impact customers’ daily work-related activities.
  • Utilize IT software programs to support clinical decision-making during file-work and examinations.
  • Provide comprehensive reports to enable DWP Decision Makers to make informed benefit claim decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ acute clinical experience
  • HCPC Registration
  • Broad-based clinical experience in an acute setting including neuro experience (prefferable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, empathetic, and professional manner
  • Strong computer and IT skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a targeted team
  • Adaptability and flexibility under pressure
