Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Quality Controller to work in their leading facility in Telford

For the successful Quality Controller our client is offering;

• Pay rate starting at £12 per hour
• Working 6-2/2-10 rotating shifts (however, will start off working 8am – 4pm Monday – Friday for first few weeks whilst in training)
• Temporary-Permanent position

The Role of the Quality Controller;

• Meeting product specifications.
• Working mainly within a laboratory environment 
• Taking and testing samples of product batches.
• Raising work orders, checking raw material stocks, obtaining samples from other sites when needed. 
• Updating a computer system with information including materials and any substances used within the lab.
• Using the Share Point system to obtain documentation, reports, QSE manuals, policies and procedures.
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Rectifying any defects that are detected.
• Assist the Engineering team with product review and corrective action on product, non-conformances and disposition.

What our client is looking for in a Quality Controller;

• Previous experience within a similar quality based role – ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience within the Plastics/Extrusion industry – PREFERRED
• You MUST be PC literate – ESSENTIAL
