As a Junior Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering PR plans aligned with client goals and KPIs
  • Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key media contacts
  • Identifying and capitalising on news jacking opportunities
  • Providing support in new business endeavours
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of client accounts
  • Delegating, briefing, and monitoring the progress of direct reports
  • Conducting interviews and appraisals
  • Representing the agency professionally

Here Are the Skills You’ll Need:

  • A minimum of one year of agency PR experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing skills and thought leadership
  • Strong media relations and familiarity with key media contacts
  • Understanding of new business processes
  • Proficient client management skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive attitude
  • Flexibility and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Familiarity with evaluation, measurement, and reporting systems
  • Excellent organizational skills
