Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:

A global logistics firm is seeking a confident and personable trainer to join their team. The trainer will be responsible for ongoing training and support, maintenance, enhancements, and the roll-out of the Dayforce Workforce Management module. The position will require travel to multiple sites, with overnight stays, and the trainer will work with various internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a full, clean driving license and be well-presented, articulate, and people-oriented. They should also have knowledge of HR and warehouse logistics processes, as well as experience with Dayforce WFM, HR, or payroll modules.

Job Description:

A superb opportunity has arisen for a confident, personable and relatable trainer to join a global logistics firm working with multiple internal stakeholders.  This position would suit someone happy to travel 2-3 days per week across multiple sites with overnight stays essential.  You will be a well-presented, articulate and people orientated individual prepared to work hard in a friendly welcoming team.

Full, clean driving licence required.

Working within our Workforce Management team you will be responsible for the ongoing training / support, maintenance, enhancements and continued roll out of the complete Dayforce Workforce Management module.

You will be working in a team to help maintain and improve an essential Time and Attendance, Skills, Task allocation and Advances Scheduling module throughout the organisation across the UK with over 400 Internal & External users which consists of Finance, Agency providers, HR and all levels of the Operation.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

  • Support in Operational requirements by visiting client sites 2-3 days a week as well as picking up support in all areas of the operation including Early, Late and night shift.
  • Manage the system first line support group called Dayforce Champions to deliver support and continuous improvement at all levels, this will include continued training and knowledge transfer.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees and managers on time and attendance policies and procedures.
  • Analyse time and attendance data to identify trends and patterns and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance IT, Agencies  and payroll teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to time and attendance records, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Manage any issues identified through to resolution which could be system, user or employee related.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of relevant time management legislation and company policies to support the business with compliance whilst staying upto date with industry trends and best practice through the Dayforce Network.
  • Identify all Training requirements in project status and deliver along with early life support to ensure a successful roll out.
  • Second line support for all end user training requirements identified through BAU and support on the documentation, Payroll issues or general enquiries.
  • Support the WFM implementations where required, this can be to assist with the Configuration, Build, Testing requirements and Communications.
  • Support in any day to day BAU team activities.
  • Support any system enhancement or defects along with any patching and upgrade requirements.
  • Cross training between WFM, HR & Payroll modules to ensure cover for any BAU or Project absence.
  • This role will include training for all levels of users remotely and on site where travel will be required.
