Specialty Doctor in Palliative Care
£72k FTE
Are you a dedicated and compassionate doctor looking for a fulfilling role in Palliative Care? We are seeking a talented Specialty Doctor to join the team at a leading Hospice and provide exceptional care to their patients.

Responsibilities:
- Engage in comprehensive handovers and collaborate with the team on patient care.
- Coordinate admissions and discharges, working closely with nursing staff and administrators.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop holistic palliative care plans.
- Facilitate advance care planning discussions and support patients and families emotionally.
- Regularly review patients’ clinical management and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Participate in virtual MDT meetings and collaborate with Palliative Medicine Consultants.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of consultations and telephone advice.
- Contribute to clinical supervision, audits, and policy development.
- Support the learning experience of students and provide education to clinical staff.
Requirements:
