Contract: Full-time, permanent

 

Aston Education is looking for a Deputy SENDCO with QTS for an Ofsted Good 11-16 secondary school in Lambeth, South London.

 

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional who can bring both expertise and creativity to the SEND provision.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

SENCO experience from a mainstream secondary settingEnglish or History teacher with QTS or you can offer another academic subjectStrong knowledge and practical experience of interventions and strategies across the four areas of need (Communication & Interaction, Cognition & Learning, SEMH, and Sensory/Physical)Confident with technologyExperience in coordinating and managing exam access arrangementsHold Assessor accreditation for access arrangementsThe ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with parents and carers
