Experienced Mechanic – HVG’s, Plant, Machinery and Agricultural Vehicles
Our family-run Transport Yard is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and servicing our fleet of HGVs, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day workshop operations.
Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
Prepare fleet of HGV’s for MOT
Ensure all activities meet stringent best-practice and safety standards.
Keep accurate records of all work performed.
Be familiar with HGV Diagnostic (Jaltest) equipment.
Requirements:
HGV Class 1 Essential
Proven experience as a HGV vehicle mechanic.
Strong ability to work with a variety of vehicles.
HGV and car driving licence essential .
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Ability to manage workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.
