Job Title              General Manager – Events Venue

Salary:                 £55,000 + Bonus

Location:             Essex

I am  excited to be working with a stunning Events Venue in Essex who are looking for an experienced General Manager to join the team.  You will be responsible for the day to day operations for the site, training and development of the team, and providing incredible guest experiences. You must be self-motivated, passionate about providing an amazing service, with a background in delivering weddings and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment, training and development of the team
  • Delivering excellence across all events to exceed the clients’ expectations
  • Building client and supplier relationships
  • Cost control
  • Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met
  • Focus on guest satisfaction delivering 5 star service and product

The ideal candidate:

  • Operational Management experience in a similar environment
  • Experience delivering weddings & events
  • Financial and P&L understanding
  • Confident leader
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Forward thinking and people focused
  • Passionate about guest experience
