We are currently recruiting for a National Training Manager 

The role requires you to take responsibility for shaping our learning and development strategy across the UK, covering regulatory and compliance training whilst assessing that our training matrix is delivering on our management development initiatives. You will be responsible for managing dedicated and operationally deployed members of staff to ensure that learning objectives are not only met, but always maintained whilst on deployment. 

You will need to be able to Manage the training framework for frontline services, ensuring compliance with Industry standards and other regulations. Schedule and deliver effective training to all new and existing employees meeting the needs of the training matrix in place. 

Working alongside senior management, be able to evolve the training plan to ensure scheduled training takes place, that refresher training is scheduled timeously and conducted professionally and any changes to legislation or best practices are rolled out across the Company. 

Source training partners and develop effective relationships to ensure that training maximises the return on investment. Regularly review and update training content in line with changes to regulations and internal operational excellence requirements. 

This is a remote role but will you be required to attend Head Office to deliver the company induction programme.

The role will also require you to take ownership of management development across the business by identifying and implementing a training programme to enhance the skills of our new managers. you will be evaluating, assessing, auditing and reporting also.

Skills/Experience Required: 

Previous experience of training requirements in a regulated industry sector, ideally within law enforcement. 

Understanding and experience of dealing with frontline service delivery. 

Proven track record of ‘leading by example’ and instilling best practice amongst new starters and experienced employees. 

Excellent communication and leadership skills to articulate the learning and development strategy and manage the team to implement in line with compliance, regulations and business needs. 

Highly organised, reliable, flexible and methodical 

Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 

Proven track record of delivery in a learning and development role within a multi-site business. 

Good understanding of talent management strategies. 

Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and the need to measure impact and effectiveness of learning activities. 

Hours 

Monday to Friday 9:00 – 5:00

Salary

£35,000 to £38,000 depending on experience

Location: Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire
