Director of Quality and Compliance

Location: London

Salary: £100,000

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Quality and Compliance to join a Luxury Care Provider.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage a comprehensive portfolio within the social care sector, ensuring compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and other regulatory frameworks
• Proactively identify areas of non-compliance and develop timely action plans
• Develop and embed the quality and compliance strategy across the organization
• Lead the development of quality governance, assurance, and reporting mechanisms
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with external agencies and stakeholders
• Target growth by expanding current markets and developing new services
• Ensure proper notification and management of serious incidents
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
• Ensure staffing levels and skill mix meet care standards
• Work with HR and L&D teams to meet training needs in line with CQC guidelines

Experience:

• Preferably educated to degree-level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Sound understanding of quality standards that underpin safe, effective, and person-centred care
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Extensive knowledge of the social care sector and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to travel extensively throughout a wide geographical location
