35Job Description:¿Cómo está usted? Are you a passionate MFL Spanish teacher looking for an opportunity to support the education of young people?
Smile Education, Northwest is now recruiting for a full-time MFL Teacher for a college based in Bolton.

The role:
- Preparing Spanish teaching and learning materials.
- Providing guidance and advice to pupils on education and on their further education and careers.
- Providing feedback to students and parents, through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate.
- Contributing to department planning and self-evaluation.
- Providing professional support to other teachers and support staff.
- Attending departmental and school meetings, either during or after the school day, as requested.
What do you need for the role as a Spanish MFL Teacher?
- A teaching qualification with QTS and experience teaching MFL across KS3 and KS4 in line with the British Curriculum
- A valid PGCE/QTS (unqualified Spanish speakers would also be considered if you have a minimum of 3 years MFL teaching experience in the UK)
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
- Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum and the subjects.
- 2 education-based references in the last 24 months.
- A passion for teaching and languages.
- A determined, hard-working attitude.
