A visitor centre at Lulworth Cove seeks a friendly and proactive individual to enhance the visitor experience in a picturesque location. This seasonal role, potentially leading to permanent employment, requires working five days a week, including weekends, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, handling enquiries, updating information, ensuring the centre's presentation, and managing tramper hires. The ideal candidate should possess strong customer care experience, excellent people skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position offers a pay rate of £12.36 per hour, alongside benefits such as employee discounts and free parking.

We require a charismatic, proactive person to be the welcoming face and voice of our visitor centre at the heart of beautiful Lulworth Cove.
This is a seasonal position (with the possibility of becoming a permanent position) working 5 days per week (including weekends) between 9:30am and 5:30pm. The role offers huge variety and a real opportunity to get stuck in and provide excellent service to our many visitors.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Manning the welcome desk, greeting visitors offering tips for an enjoyable stay and for making the most of the local area.
* Being the first port of call for telephone enquiries, email enquiries and walk-in enquiries.
* Updating visitor information including maps and details of events in the local area/wider estate.
* Ensuring continuity of visitor’s positive experience, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring excellent presentation of the visitor centre at all times.
* Administration tasks such as dealing with lost property and answering car parking queries.
* Liaising with and maintaining relationships with the retail and visitor experience teams.
* Managing tramper hire, handling payment transactions.
Essential qualities include:
* Previous customer care experience.
* Strong people skills.
* Experience with problem solving and complaints handling.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
* The ability to juggle workload efficiently and cheerfully and to remain calm under pressure.
* Good physical strength and stamina
* Previous experience of a receptionist or welcome desk role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
