We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Functions & Events Manager at The Mayfield, Seamer. As Functions & Event Manager, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating events ranging from birthday parties, company functions and gala evenings.

*The Role*
* To meet overall business targets, in collaboration with the General Manager, development of the vision and key strategies for the venue.
* Support leading the Front of House team by adopting a hands-on approach and being visible with on the floor presence.
* Be involved with the periodic and annual planning of budgets events.
* Being responsible for ensuring staff perform to the standards expected for a high customer service standard while ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained in all areas of responsibility.
* Supporting all Food & Beverage co-workers, including training and developing individuals within the team. To bring the best out of them and to develop a team that is well cared for and hard working.
* Ensure operational areas are properly prepared for all functions each day.
