Wraparound Care Staff – Sportacus Coaching
Are you passionate about working with children and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment? Sportacus Coaching is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Wraparound Care Staff Member to join our team, supporting children during our wraparound care sessions.
About the Role:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 09:00 & 15:00 – 18:00
Minimum 20 hours per week, with the option for additional hours if desired
Location: Various primary schools in South London (this will be a fixed school placement)
As a Wraparound Care Staff Member, you’ll lead a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for children aged 4–11. From arts and crafts, cooking, and board games to sports and active play, you’ll help provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can learn, relax, and have fun before and after school.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Reliability and commitment to weekday hours
A positive and proactive attitude
Team player with strong communication skills
Passion for supporting children’s social and emotional development
Experience working with young children
Competency in spoken and written English
Eligibility to legally work in the UK
Desirable (Not Essential – but Great to Have!):
Paediatric First Aid qualification
Safeguarding training
Food Hygiene Certificate or awareness of basic food safety
