*About the Role:*
As Deputy Manager, you will support the *Registered Manager* in ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with all regulations. You will play a key role in leading and supporting the team, promoting a *safe, nurturing, and inclusive* environment for the children.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a high standard of care.
* Lead and develop the staff team, providing guidance and supervision.
* Ensure compliance with *Ofsted regulations* and children’s home standards.
* Contribute to *care planning and risk management* for young people with learning disabilities.
* Create a *positive and therapeutic* environment that supports the children’s development.
* Work closely with external professionals, families, and local authorities.
*Requirements:*
* MUST Have Experience working in a *children’s residential setting*, preferably with learning disabilities.
* MUST have Minimum *Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare* (or equivalent).
* MUST have Strong leadership and team management skills.
* MUST have Knowledge of *safeguarding procedures* and relevant regulations.
* MUST be Passionate about supporting young people with learning disabilities.
