Geometric Manufacturing, based in Tewkesbury since 1986, specialises in producing components primarily for the defence and security sectors using advanced CNC technology. The company boasts a family-led leadership team and operates 50 CNC machines, including the UK's largest fleet of Haas 5-axis UMC-750 machines. They are currently seeking a Deburrer to join their team in Bredon, with no prior experience required as training will be provided. We are proud to have an established and family led Senior Leadership Team in place to ensure our operations run efficiently 24 hours a day across our two manufacturing sites in the Tewkesbury area. Our strong foundations and expertise help our team and customers feel confident working with us.
We operate over *50 CNC machines*, including the largest fleet of *Haas 5 axis UMC-750* machines in the UK (11 installed to date).
Our current healthy orderbook for challenging prismatic components means that we are adding to a brand new opportunity to our team in Bredon.
*Deburrer – The role*
The role entails the use of hand tools to remove burrs and sharp edges which occur during our manufacturing processes of machining aluminium components.
*You will be a success in this role if you :*
* Have a good eye for detail and enjoy working on intricate bespoke projects
* Are dexterous with good fine motor skills
* Enjoy working independently whilst contributing to the output of a larger team
* Are committed, reliable, loyal and want to be part of a valued, friendly and hard working team.
This role involves repetitive tasks with long periods of concentration and sitting down.
No experience is required as full training will be provided, but experience within a similar role is preferable.

* Full time or part time – between 16 – 39 hours per week, to suit the applicants preference
* *Monday – Friday* (we can be flexible with days and working hours but once agreed, must be set each week). Times of attendance can be flexible as the site operates from 6am to 9pm, allowing your hours to be worked to suit your circumstances
