Ideal Recruit is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a reputable client in Preston, offering a pay rate between £16 to £19 per hour, depending on the day and time worked. The role involves delivering pallet goods across the UK using a refrigerator unit, with guaranteed minimum hours of eight per day. Candidates must have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, at least two years of driving experience, and a Driver’s CPC and Digital Tachograph card, with no more than six points on their driving licence. A signing and referral bonus is also available.

This role involves delivering pallet goods across the UK driving a refrigerator unit.
Driver must be able to load and unload using pallet trucks.
Minimum 8 hrs a day guaranteed.
PAYE Pay Rates:
Monday – Friday days £16.00ph
Monday – Friday nights £17.00ph
Saturday – £18.00ph
Sunday – £19.00ph
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (Category C+E).
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 1 driver.
Preferably have experience driving a refrigerator unit.
Possess a valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
Have no more than 6 points for minor endorsements on their driving license.
