Class 1 Driver in Sheffield

Ideal Recruit is seeking experienced Class 1 trunking drivers for ad-hoc positions with a reputable client in Sheffield. The role offers competitive hourly rates ranging from £18.21 to £24.67, with additional bonuses available. The job involves RDC to RDC deliveries and collections, and candidates must provide their own PPE. Applicants should have at least two years of Class 1 driving experience, a valid Driver's CPC card, a Digital Tachograph card, and a maximum of six points for minor endorsements. £250 Signing Bonus / £250 Referral Bonus

Block bookings two weeks in advance – RDC to RDC deliveries and collections.
PPE: Safety boots, vis vests, steel toe caps.
Rates of Pay (with holiday pay including):
Mon-Fri – Days – £18.21 p/h.
Mon-Fri – Nights – £19.05 p/h
Saturday/Sunday – Days – £23.55 ph.
Saturday/Sunday – Nights – £24.67 ph.
Additional Information:
Assessment is required, lasting approximately 3 to 4 hours.
You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:
– HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE).
– At least 2 years of experience as a class 1 driver.
– Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
– No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
