A well-established, family-owned manufacturer in Kirklees is seeking a full-time Client Service Coordinator to enhance their customer service team. The role involves managing independently controlled accounts, ensuring timely order fulfilment, and maintaining communication with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations. Responsibilities include coordinating sales orders, amending orders, arranging deliveries, and managing the complaints database. The ideal candidate will possess experience in client project management, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The position offers a salary of up to £30,000 and operates on specified hours.
We have partnered with a well-established, family-owned manufacturer based in Kirklees, specialising in the fabrics industry, they are looking for a Client Service Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service to independently managed accounts, acting as the first point of contact for issue resolution and ensuring smooth customer journey throughout.
You will be expected to guarantee customer orders are received on date expected, being proactive in liaising with internal stakeholders consistently to limit any hurdles that may occur.
You will consistently put the customer at the heart of everything you do, playing an active part in adding value at every stage of each process.
You will adhere to the company’s strategic aims and values that supports the ongoing development and growth of the operation.
You will be expected to display a passion for exceeding the expectations of customers and contribute toward delivering ongoing improvements to enhance the customer experience and customer service department.
Responsibilities: Co-ordinate sales orders in a timely and accurate Acknowledge orders back to the customer, advising them of any quantity changes, changes to delivery dates, etc.
Amend orders already placed, ensuring that production and transport are kept informed of any changes.
Book in deliveries, sending copies of delivery notes, ensuring they are signed and Maintain the complaints and returns database and raising returns Manage activity throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
Takes steps to avoid quality control Continually review freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible.
Planning and organising self and working with others to accomplish specific Support others cross-functionally to achieve common Ensure all quality issues raised are managed in line with Quality and audit Participate in ISO and Ethical audits as required and contributing to ensuring zero non- Experience, skillset and qualifications: Experience in an industrial/manufacturing/construction environment preferred but not essential.
Experience in client project management or service delivery.
Ability to successfully work as part of a team.
Ability to communicate well both written and verbal.
Ability to confidently work under pressure.
Ability to liaise and negotiate with clients / stakeholders.
