60Job Description:This is a unique Information Management role within Thames Waterbecause you will be part of our Strategic Resource Options (SRO) team, which is developing a portfolio of 5 major infrastructure projects, including a new reservoir in Oxfordshire and other water supply resilience infrastructure programmes.
These projects have a total capital value of over £5 billion.
This role works with the Head of Procurement, Supply Chain & Digital and Digital Lead for theSRO Directorate to provide Information Management expertise across the entire SRO portfolio of projects.
What you’ll be doing as the Senior Information Manager
- Ensure our digital content is produced, stored and shared using up-to-date technology including the effective use of platforms such as Asite and SharePoint.
- You will be expected to lead a team to undertake the functions of effective information management as identified in ISO 19650 throughout our projects’ lifecycles.
- Work with stakeholders, partners and suppliers to understand projects’ requirements for information standards and processes, as well as delivery milestones, production methods, reference information and shared resources.
- Create and maintain a BIM execution plan and Project Information Delivery Plan (PIDP), working alongside our operations teams.
- You’ll use your information management team to guide, support and audit task teams in the delivery of their Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP), to meet the projects’ requirements.
- You’ll support the mobilisation process, working with tools, SMEs and technical leadership to configure elements such as the CDE and design delivery tools, to enable the delivery of the projects.
- Support the mobilisation of digital solutions that come together to form a common data environment.
- You’ll provide detailed advice and support to our teams around how changing technologies might help enhance and streamline their delivery processes, and then work with them to implement these technologies and capture the resulting benefits.
- Guide and support audit task teams.
- Work with our teams, offering support and advice on using technologies to improve their delivery processes.
- Use cost-effective and innovative technologies to optimise delivery and quality and reduce errors.
This is a hybrid role with a base Location ofCamelford House, 89 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TP.
What you should bring to the role
- Experience and expert knowledge of Information Management.
- Be an expert in developing and maintaining SharePoint sites complete with bespoke features and workflows.
- Significant experience working on a similar client-side role during the development and delivery phase of major infrastructure projects, preferably those subject to complex planning environments.
- Experienced in conducting and overseeing information exchange as per the UK BIM Framework and ISO 19650.
- Experience in managing a small team of Document Managers / Controllers.
- Experience in implementing workflow management to bring about tangible process improvement.
- Experience managing projects and a good appreciation of the various functions, lifecycles and roles involved in the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects.
- The ability to influence build and maintain positive relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Expert in developing and maintaining SharePoint sites complete with bespoke features and workflows.
- A knowledge of the Information management functions allocated per party. (Appointing Party, Lead Appointing Party, Appointed Party)
