This role involves offering innovative solutions to add value to spatial data and improving processes through the full suite of GIS applications Accountabilities & Responsibilities Production of FME and GIS workflows that will enable accurate repeatable analysis to be implemented across the business Support the wider UU GIS community by acting as a focal point for UU GIS Champions and Data Stewards, sharing knowledge through user guides, 1-2-1 and team meetings Actively engage with teams around the business to identify ways of standardising workflows and data to provide both better quality and more efficient processes Analysis and production of spatial data as required through business requests Provide specialist services for business requests and projects to support better business decisions and to improve the quality and accuracy of reporting to external bodies such as OFWAT, the DWI and the EA.

Technical Skills & Experience Advanced user of Feature Manipulation Engine (FME).

Have a detailed understanding of the usage of GIS systems and how to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data, to ensure defined integrity and quality standards are met.

Advanced knowledge of the ESRI platform and applications including ArcMap, Pro, ArcGIS Online, Field maps Good communication skills enabling sharing of knowledge and skills in GIS with people of all levels of exposure.

Excellent problem solver who can independently find solutions to complex problems and requests Excellent understanding of Ordnance Survey datasets (MasterMap, Address Base Premium, Highways) Qualifications Essential Qualifications Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or able to demonstrate suitable relevant experience About the Team Our team is part of the wider Data & Analytics team, where we focus on delivering high-quality GIS data and spatial analysis to support the business.
