We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering a large education new build project in Dalkeith Location : Dalkeith,
– some flexibility to work from home Hours : 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us What will you be responsible for? As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will initially be working on a large new build high school and community campus in Dalkeith, delivering a modern facility valued £45M.
Working closely with the managing surveyor you will take a key role in managing the cost and cashflow through effective commercial management of sub contractors and client reps under the contract conditions.
Your day to day will include: Organising the division of projects into component work packages for procurement.
Assessing returns from sub-contractors and awarding work packages.
Negotiating with sub-contractor supply chain to achieve best value.
Managing applications for payment from sub-contractors Preparation of applications for payment to clients.
Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports) Preparation of final accounts What are we looking for? This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you can demonstrate.
