*Overview*
We are seeking reliable and skilled Class 1 Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods, mainly from one hub to another. This role is one of the easiest roles we have and a firm favourite amongst our drivers
*Responsibilities*
* Operate a Class 1 for the transportation of goods to various locations.
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, particularly flatbed loads.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
* Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
* Assist in the planning of routes to optimise delivery efficiency.
*Skills*
* Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices.
* Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Good communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
* A valid commercial driving licence is essential for this position.
