Job Title: Head of Therapy Services
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: Up to £55,000 FTE (22.5 hours per week, 3 days a week)

What You’ll Do:
As the Head of Therapy Services, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering high-quality, personalized rehabilitation programs. You will:
- Lead and Inspire: Drive the therapy team towards excellence with strong leadership and innovative thinking.
- Manage Complex Cases: Oversee and guide the development of bespoke therapy programs that meet individual needs.
- Uphold High Standards: Ensure our services comply with HCPC regulations and company standards.
- Champion Best Practices: Implement and advocate for evidence-based approaches to improve service outcomes.
- Equip and Support: Manage resources effectively to provide necessary tools and maintain budget integrity.
- Educate and Develop: Share your expertise and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with various departments to support the organization’s broader strategic objectives.
- Promote Safety and Confidentiality: Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and clients.
What We’re Looking For:
We need a leader who combines technical expertise with a compassionate approach. You should have:
- Experience: Proven track record in evidence-based practice, outcome measures, and therapy assessments.
- Leadership: Strong team management skills, including objective setting, performance appraisals, and the ability to motivate others.
- Autonomy: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage risks independently.
- Communication: Advanced communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
- Innovation: Visionary skills to inspire and drive the team forward.
- Legislation Knowledge: Understanding of relevant legislation impacting current practice.
Qualifications:
- Education: BSc in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
- Management Skills: Degree or equivalent experience in management.
- Professional Registration: Registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
