HGV Class 1 Driver

24-7 Recruitment Services is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing work with a client in Widnes (WA8). The role involves trunking goods within the automotive industry, typically requiring 1-4 drops per day. Shifts are Monday to Friday, with start times between 20:00-23:00 and 02:00-08:00. Candidates must hold a valid Class 1/C+E licence, have no more than six points on their driving record, and possess Tacho and CPC cards. HGV Class 1 driver
24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on behalf of our client in Widnes (WA8).
We require HGV Class 1 drivers to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods from depot to depot. It is an Automotive industry work with some general haulage work. Your day will generally consist of up to 1-4 drops per day.

*Class 1 HGV Drivers will require:*
* Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
* No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, TT’s or IN’s)
* Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
* Container experience.
* Minimum 1 year experience on Class 1
*Class 1 HGV Drivers work will involve:*

* Night rate OT after 8 hours (18:00 to 06:00) – *£27.91*
*After 12 months of employment*
* Day Rate – *£18.76*
* OT after 8 Hours Days – *£28.14*
* Night Rate (18:00 to 06:00) – *£23.45*
* Night rate OT after 8 hours (18:00 to 06:00) – *£32.83*
*Driving assessment *
* Assessment – This will take up 8 hours. Driving assessment will commence by taking drug and alcohol test , then followed by theory test and then driving test.
* Induction –You will be required to do onsite induction training.
* Induction training will consist of ‘Safe Systems of Work’ at your pace and other health and safety related topics, once completed you will have a vehicle familiarisation and a site walk around.
