Kier is seeking a Plumbing Maintenance Engineer to join their EKFB team in Rushden, Northamptonshire, with travel required across various sites. We’re looking for a Plumbing Maintenance Engineer to join our EKFB team based in Rushden.
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire – remote working not applicable due to the mobile nature of the role, with travel across EKFB sites required.
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
What will you be responsible for?
As a Plumbing Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be working within the EKFB team, supporting them in maintaining and repairing plumbing systems across operational infrastructure and commercial environments.
Your day to day will include:
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances
- Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues across commercial sites
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Participating in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergency repairs
- Delivering excellent customer service and timely, efficient solutions
- Carry out weekly and monthly ppms like fire alarm testing, emergency light testing, building fabric maintenance.

This role of Plumbing Maintenance Engineer is great for you if:
- You hold a valid UK driving license
- You are able to pass (or already hold) an enhanced DBS check due to work on sensitive or secure sites
- plumbing qualifications would be looking at level2/3 nvq and g3 ticket
