Lecturer (Bricklaying)

Location: Swindon – North Star Campus

Salary: £25,914 – £43,179 per annum
As Lecturer (Bricklaying) you will provide direct support for learning to individuals or a small group of learners, over and above that which is normally provided in a standard learning programme.

What you will do as a Lecturer (Bricklaying)

  • Deliver top-tier teaching in bricklaying, from theory to hands-on practice.
  • Support learners on study programmes and apprenticeships, helping them master the trade and meet qualification standards.
  • Create lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials that are as well-structured as a cavity wall.
  • Act as a personal tutor, offering guidance, motivation, and a bit of character-building along the way.
  • Track progress, giving feedback, and helping students hit their targets (and exceed them).
  • Develop the curriculum to reflect modern industry standards and prepare students for real-world success.
  • Keep accurate records, managing course files, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Experience/Qualifications of a Lecturer (Bricklaying)
