Taskmaster has announced a new temporary to permanent vacancy for experienced Class 2 night drivers for a reputable refrigerated transport company in Birstall. The role involves delivering frozen and chilled goods to coffee shops across Leeds, Newcastle, York, and Harrogate, with start times between 15:30 and 18:00 on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Candidates must possess a valid HGV (C) driving licence, have no more than six minor offence points, and be physically fit for handballing and cage work. Pay rates range from £16 to £20 per hour, depending on the day of the week.

We are seeking experienced Class 2 night drivers for a well-established refrigerated transport company.
*Job Specification:*
* Start times: between 15:30 and 18:00
* Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off
* Delivering frozen and chilled goods to coffee shops covering Leeds, Newcastle, York and Harrogate areas
* Handballing required
* Cage work, drivers must be physically fit and able to stock items on shelves
* Pay rates when temporary:
*Monday to Friday: £16ph*
*Saturday £18ph*
*Sunday £20ph*
*Requirements:*
* Ideally, 2 years’ experience, new passes with experience are considered
* Valid HGV (C) driving licence
* No more than 6 points for minor offences
* Clear communication skills, both verbal and in writing
* No endorsements such as IN & DR 10’s due to company insurance.
