3.5t Van Driver

Backline Logistics Plymouth is seeking 3.5t van drivers to work with various distribution companies, including builders' merchants and parcel deliveries. Responsibilities involve loading and unloading vans, completing paperwork, and multi-drop deliveries, with a focus on customer service. Ideal candidates should have experience in driving long wheel-based vans and familiarity with ratchet straps. Shifts typically start at 07:00, with both full-time and part-time options available. Candidates must hold a full UK 3.5t licence, possess good communication skills, and maintain a professional appearance. The role offers a pay rate of £12.50 per hour and various additional benefits.

Backline Logistics Plymouth are looking for *3.5t Van drivers *to work for a range of distribution companies such as: Builder’s merchants, tyre deliveries, and/or parcel deliveries.
General duties include but are not limited to: loading and unloading the vans, filling out relevant paperwork, and multi-drop of goods. This role is customer facing so previous experience of customer service is advantageous.
The ideal candidate Previous experience of multi-drop, driving long wheel-based vans, and ratchet straps is highly advantageous.
Typical shifts start from 07:00am onwards, Monday to Friday with a minimum of 8 hours of pay per day. Overtime available dependant on business needs. Full time and part time hours are available.
*THE REQUIREMENTS*
* You must hold a full UK 3.5t / Category B Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
* You must have had previous experience of driving 3.5t vans.
* Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
* Be clean and professional at all times.
* Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
