Position Overview: As a carer (HCA) with The Talent Crowd, you will play a crucial role in the well-being and quality of life of residents in nursing and residential homes. You will provide compassionate care, assistance with daily living activities, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with mobility and transfer, utilizing proper techniques and equipment.
- Assist in feeding and maintaining proper nutrition and hydration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Requirements:
- Previous paid UK experience as a Healthcare Assistant is essential.
- Compassion and dedication to providing excellent care to residents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo necessary training and development.
