We have an exciting new vacancy for a Head Housekeeper to join our team at The Britannia Hotel Edinburgh. This 223-room hotel is ideally located in the West End. Our hotel is within easy reach of the city’s major attractions and just a short walk from Haymarket train station

Your duties will include:

Managing the Housekeeping department to ensure the cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas

Recruiting, managing and developing your team

Assisting the team in cleaning if required to ensure rooms are ready for our next guests

Forecasting according to expected business and preparing staff rotas accordingly

Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain quality control.

Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.

Working as part of the hotel management team

The successful candidate will have strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills as well as being an experienced hotel head housekeeper or a supervisor looking to take the next step in their career.
