HIDE is seeking a full-time Chef De Rang to join its Michelin-starred team. Located in an urban oasis overlooking Green Park, HIDE features two dining rooms with a seasonal à la carte menu and a tasting menu with wine pairings. We are currently recruiting for an full time Chef De Rang to join the team at Michelin* HIDE.
HIDE is an urban oasis from the bustling world, hidden in plain sight.
Spread over three floors, two light-filled dining rooms are set around a breath-taking central staircase and enjoy tranquil views over Green Park
Servingbreakfast, lunch & dinner, a sizeable a la carte menu
showcases the very best seasonal offerings, largely sourced from a close network
ofsmall farmers &suppliers from acrossthe UK. A tasting menu with matching wine flights is also available on both floors.
Everything is made in-house wherever possible: fromcharcuterie & breadto jams,
juices and pickles.
This position is hourly paid with a starting wage of£15.21per hour.
As a Chef de Rang your duties will include:
- Working closely with the Head waiter to manage a section of the restaurant
- Having a clear understanding of the menu & confidence to answer guest questions
- Managing elements of the tasting menu eg. Cheese trolley
- Be fully aware of the different types of plates and cutlery and their uses.
- Building a rapport with regular guests
- To maintain good communication between the station and the kitchen.
- To be respectful and respond positively to demands from the Chef de Rang and the Management team.
