What We Are Looking For: We are searching for an experienced and passionate Head Baker with expertise in creating, testing, and perfecting sourdough bread, fresh levain, and pastries. The ideal candidate will:

  • Master Craftsmanship: Have the ability to create, refine, and master recipes for sourdough bread, levain, and a variety of pastries.
  • Recipe Innovation: Take existing recipes and elevate them while also developing new, exceptional recipes that delight our customers.
  • Attention to Quality: Ensure consistent, high-quality results by maintaining precise techniques and sourcing the best ingredients.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with the team to maintain product consistency and align with the overall vision of our bakery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test new recipes for bread, pastries, and other baked goods.
  • Enhance and optimize existing recipes to ensure excellence in flavour, texture, and presentation.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency in all baked products.
  • Manage the baking process, including timing, temperature control, and ingredient measurements.
  • Collaborate with the team to introduce seasonal or special menu items.
